The American company Solo Stove recently opened up in the Netherlands to start selling more in Europe. This has the potential to change the current outdoor stove market for Europeans in the long run.
Solo Stove are known for their high-quality wood gas stoves. Randing from small one-person stoves to larger ones made for families and usage at home. These stoves have specific designs to ignite more of the gases leaving the fuel (usually wood) to improve efficiency. This combined with lightweight material makes these stoves very appealing for people looking for ultra light gear.
With them now opening up in the Netherlands, Europeans can now buy their products easier and cheaper (free shipping and no additional taxes). However, only their larger stoves seem to be stored in Europe so far. This means that the smaller ones will still require high transportation fees and taxes unless you are located in the US. However, this is a big step since they now officially offer shipping to Europe from the US, and might one day store all types of products in Europe, and thereby being able to offer free shipping for more of their customers.
